Harbey was a friend from many years ago. I lost touch with him for a long time, and when I reconnected, I learned he was living alone and independently. However, three years ago, his health deteriorated, and his situation quickly worsened to the point where his condition would inevitably confine him to bed. Despite this prognosis, his response to this prospect was clear: dignified death. At first, I didn't fully understand what that meant, but I decided to record him to preserve his testimony—first only in audio, and later, despite his initial reluctance, on video too. This documentary is a tribute to Harbey and to the ability to be true to oneself, even in death.
